Pismo Beach

Kaden on one of many airplane rides he has gone on and he is not even two!! At least for another day!! He loves airplanes and riding in them.
Shoveling the sand and making it fly!! Real High!!
Sand Alert!! Sand in the mouth!! Sand in the mouth!! Yuck! Yuck! It was pretty funny I must admit!
Warming up in the sand and checking out the local scenery..... girls that is in their bikini's!!

We decided to go on a family vacation before school starts again to Pismo Beach. We had some hook-ups through Brents mom for some cheap flights and we stayed with my sister Jen. She is a travel nurse there for a while. Thank Mom and Jen!! It worked out so good and we had a lot of fun! The weather was perfect, especially for a prego, I hate the heat right now it make me nausea's literally. The minute I walked off the plane I wanted to turn around and go back to California. We had fun being beach bums and eating at all the local restaurants. We had some of the best clam chowder around at Splash Cafe and BBQ at Moes BBQ it was yummy! Kaden loved the beach and all the people. He is a social lite and loves the girls in their bikini's!

The Latest Happenings

Kaden came upon these ace bandages when we were cleaning yesterday and so I decided to wrap him up he thought it was pretty cool!!

Kaden and Max love to play together. Max is a great dog and is such a big dog but so gentle to Kaden he will let him do just about anything to him and he has been like this since Kaden was just a little baby. We love our dog Max.

Time to retire the Pajamma's. These have been Kaden's favorite pajamas and the last time he wore them he created holes for each of his big toes to fit out of because his feet just decided to grow a size and a half.....fun rite in the middle of summer!! He would always pick these ones out of all of the others. He thought he was pretty funny!!

Our Little Wall-E!! My mom gave Kaden his birthday card early and it had Wall-E eyes attached. He loves his Wall-E and I thought he looked so cute. They were destroyed into many pieces shortly after though. I love my Kaden!!

4th of July in Richfield

We had a great time this 4th of July!! We had the opportunity to go the Richfield to celebrate the 4th of July. It is a big deal there and once you go there it makes other 4th celebrations seem dumb. The weather was beautiful much cooler than here which was very nice. We got to see many family members who I hadn't seen since my dad passed away at his funeral. We started our celebration out in the morning with a parade and fun in the park. Then we had our traditional shishkee-bobs at my Grandpa Madsen's house with all of my Dad's side of the family. Almost everyone was there including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great-Grand kids. We were also celebrating my grandma and grandpa being together for over 60 years. They are so amazing they still both golf and are living out their lives to the fullest. I also had the opportunity to golf with my grandpa wile there it brought back great memories of my dad. I new he was there with us. We ended our celebration by eating popcorn and licorice on my Grandpa's lawn watching the fireworks. It was a great time. While in Richfield we stayed with my Grandma Anna's she always takes such good care of us. She is the best cook and we had lots of yummy food while spending time with her. Kaden and his cousin Kameron had lots of fun playing in the sprinklers and just being at Grandmas. It was a much needed break away from the city life and we filled every moment with great memories!!

My First Cupcakes!

So the other day when Kaden and I were at the grocery store I decided to let Kaden pick out a cupcake mix and frosting that we could make together. He loves to help me in the kitchen putting dishes away and adding the cheese to the macaroni, his favorite, he will say "help mommy help," which means he wants to help me. We had a lot of fun making the cupcakes and we did pretty good not making too big of mess. His favorite part was the batter and the frosting not the finish product!

Papa Lee's Visit

We had a great time with Papa Lee....especially Kaden. Lee helped Brent on re-doing some of our backyard by adding curbing and a nice dog run for Max. It looks so much better!! Thanks Papa Lee. Kaden enjoyed building many towers with Papa Lee with his blocks and seeing how high they could go before they would "fall down," as he would say. I think they built about ten of them wile Lee was here. They had a great time and Kaden still talks about his Papa!

Our Family

Okay so we decided we needed to start a blog since we live so far away from most of our family and friends and we want to keep in touch and share our lives with the ones we love. We are currently in Arizona staying busy going to school and working and being parents to our little bundle of joy Kaden. Here are some of the things we have been up to since the first of the year. I hope you all enjoy!!
